Two Goats Deli
The Two Goats Deli aims to provide patrons with a range of wholesome and exciting foodstuffs to be enjoyed on the premises, for a picnic or taken home as a gift. All products are locally produced with the emphasis being placed on providing products that are clearly different. The Two Goats Deli is run from the same premises as The Sneeuberg Brewery and provides a country setting in which patrons can enjoy a combination of Sneeuberg ales and locally produced organic goats milk cheeses. The milk for the cheese is derived from Saanen goats that are hand milked each morning and afternoon. The range of cheeses produced include soft cheeses such as Chevre and Foudjou, semi hard cheese like feta and hard cheeses such as Caprino, Gouda and Cheddar, either plain or with a variety of herbs. We are also planning to start making cows milk cheese in order to expand the range of cheeses on offer.
The deli stocks both goat and cows milk cheeses, venison salami, preserves and other deli products. We serve cheese lunches that comprise a range of cheeses, salamis, breads, salads and preserves to be enjoyed in scenic surrounds. In winter we serve wholesome stews, curries and soups in addition to our cheese lunches. Vegetarian meals are also catered for. We also provide visitors with picnic baskets filled with your choice of foods to be enjoyed at your own leisure somewhere in our beautiful village. The Two Goats Deli is fully licensed and stocks a selection of wines, beer and other beverages. We are open daily from 10am with booking for lunches preferred but not essential.
The goats milk cheeses on sale include gouda, feta, cream cheese and various speciality cheeses. Our goats are milked at 8am and 4.30 pm daily. You are welcome to pay us a visit during milking and children are most welcome.
